Austin William's joined the cast in 2007, playing the son of Rex Balsom and Gigi marasco. Austin has potrayed Shane through numerous storylines including the solution to the lifelong question of who his father is and in 2009 a dramatic storyline where Shane was diagnosed with lieukemia. While sharing his talent on oltl Austin has also been shooting other tv work. He was featured in an episode of law & order.
