Michael and Brody McMackin began playing the role of Trevor in early 2011. The boys have also appeared on Mad Men and attended the AMC Kids Scoop's event during fan weekend!
Q&A is not to be duplicated elsewhere and claimed as their own. STAR-KIDZ EXCLUSIVES

1. How did the boys like working with Chrishell?
Chrishell is an absolute doll. She was so sweet and loving to the boys from the moment she met them. They are both shy, but she did such a good job getting them to warm up to her. I felt she was very fond of them and always took care of them on set. Whenever they see her on television they point to the screen and get super excited. She will make an amazing Mom one day!
2. What was it like working with Ricky?
Ricky has a little boy of his own, so he was really good with the Michael and Brody too.Whenever they would get shy or nervous about doing a scene, he really knew how to calm them and make them comfortable. They called him "The Daddy." He always interacted and played with the boys between takes too.
3. What was the first day on set like?
The boys were a little nervous when they went on set for the first time.. It can be a little intimidating because it is such a huge building and there are tons of people and lights. Brody filmed the first scene where he goes to the hospital to visit Jake. They let him hold his little car for comfort. He ended up doing a great job in the scene! He was smiling because Ricky kept throwing him up into the air. He was also surprised that he was done in one take because Mad Men always took multiple takes and he was used to shooting scenes for 20 or 30 minutes at a time.
4. What was the best part of working with Jill Larson?
Jill was so nice. I grew up watching "Opal" and she didn't disappoint. Even though Michael's first scene with her was the last one of the day, she took the time to talk with him and make him comfortable around her. He really liked her and loved all her jewelry too.
5. How did the boys like attending their first fan event?
They loved it! They didn't realize it was a fan event. To them, it was just an ice cream party. They had fun playing with the other kids and of course, eating two helpings of vanilla ice cream topped with Gummy Bears.
6. Did the boys get to play with the other kids between takes?
Yes, they did! We often filmed on the same days as Tate (A.J). He was so great with the boys. They often played catch in the dressing room hallways and Tate taught them how to climb the tree outside of the business offices.
7. What are some of the funniest things to have happened on set/backstage?
One funny thing happened during a scene with Chrishell. She is talking to Brody and he looks up and blurts out, "Where is my Mommy?" Chrishell started laughing and said, "I am your Mommy." Needless to say, they had to reshoot the scene.
8. What was it like shooting on location?
The boys preferred shooting on location. They loved taking the van to the Gardens where we would film. It was also a lot of fun for them in between takes. They could run around outside and check out all the plants, flowers, creeks and ponds. It was a boys' dream.
9. How did the boys like working on Mad Men?
Mad Men was their first ever acting job. They were nervous at first when they were separated from me (Mom), but the on set teacher was really great about letting me hide out of camera range so they could always see me. They really started enjoying filming as the season progressed. They loved playing with the old fashioned toys and really bonded with their t.v. siblings. They also loved all the Skittles from Kraft Services.
10. What is the best memory of being part of AMC?
The best memory is all the great people we met. I cannot get over how genuinely kind and unassuming these actors and actresses were. Working on All my Children was an amazing experience we will never forget!
We'd like to thank the McMackin family for participating in this year's Holiday Q&A event!
