Kristina was born prematurly on November 19th. Before a child was casted all the hospital scene's were done with a doll. Till Alexis got to finally hold her baby daughter. This unknown baby(ies) was the first to play Kristina. No name was ever released.








Kara and Shelby Hoffman took over the role of Kristina for a short time. They Weren't seen much and were recasted when the girls set off to do A Series Of Unfortunate Events.









Sarah and Emma Smith were born on July 19 2002. They took over the role of Kristina December 23 2003. The girls grew up on set and loved to go to work. The girls would often argue whose turn it was to play scenes because they both enjoyed being on set so much! They would often be seen attending Nancy's Fan events and were invited back after they were recasted. The girls haven't done much since leaving General Hospital, but they can be seen in shows like Without A Trace and Malcolm In The Middle which they did before they came to do General Hospital. The girls still visit the set yearly, and recently got to spend some time backstage with nancy and Kali, who took over after they left.

Kali rodriguez was born on July 27, 2000. She took over the role of Kristina on November 15 2005. It's said that kali enjoys being backstage on onstage and loves working with her onscreen father Ric and on screen younger sisters Hope and Faith Dever. Around 2008 the airtime for Kristina dwindled greatly and fans were left wishing that Kristina would be shown on screen, while their wishes were granted with the odd short scene, 2009 brought an increase but unfortunately with an aged Kristina. It was reported that Nancy Lee Grahn who plays Kali's on-screen mother wasnt even aware of the casting change until she had a line about how she couldnt hold her baby anymore and wondered why she couldnt hold Kristina/Kali.

Lexi Ainsworth took over the role of Kristina in 2009 when the character was aged to a teenager. Kristina is no longer the sweet little girl everyone came to love but a teenager who appears to be a model student and well behaved child. Not too long after starting on the show Lexi was put on contract and her air time is quite frequent. In 2010 she carried her own storyline of Kristina's abuse which has had many fall outs affecting other characters on the canvas.
