It's Christmas!

Alyvia Alyn Lind plays the role of Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless. This year she has been seen on Masters of Sex, in Coat of Many Colors, and more! To keep up to date make sure to follow her on Twitter and Instagram.

1. How do you prepare for a role?

Well for example, for Coat of Many Colors, I googled Dolly Parton, then watched a lot of interviews with her. I studied her dialect, and watched the way she moved and laughed and spoke. I looked up pictures of her when she was a little girl. I always like to know as much as I can about a role before I start.

2. Do you have a favorite episode you did for Revenge?

Even though it was really tough to film, I really liked the episode where my mom (Jennifer Jason Leigh) tried to drown me. The water was so cold and there were little prickly things in the water and I had to hold my breath over and over again. Every time I started kicking under the water because I was acting afraid, they thought I was telling them that I needed to come up! And I would say, "No!!! I was just acting!!!" It was a hard day, but the day I remember most on set.

3. How did you like filming Coat of Many Colors?

Filming Coat of Many Colors was the best experience. Again, it was so hot in Atlanta over the summer, and most of the scenes were outside, but it didn't matter. Every day was so much fun. I loved all the kids playing my sisters and brothers, and Jennifer and Ricky took care of all of us. It's my favorite job so far.

4. What was it like working with Dolly Parton?

Dolly is exactly how you would think she is. She is warm and caring and funny - I felt like I had known her forever the first time I talked to her. Both of us really felt connected to each other and felt like this was meant to be.

5. What was the experience like filming your Walmart commercial?

Hahaha! Filming the commercial was like filming a little movie! There were so many scenes and I worked on it for 3 days! But I liked that commercial because it was about sharing with the kids who need it. I liked the message.

6. How do you like working with Melody Thomas Scott?

Everyone calls her "Mel"- and she is so nurturing! She started acting when she was little too - so she gets it. She's always sure that I am taken care.

7. What is it like working with Kelly Sullivan?

Kelly is SO sweet! In a lot of scenes I'm supposed to hate her, and it's so hard, because after the scene she smiles and hugs me! She is an amazing actress and I love when we have scenes, just the two of us.

8. How do you enjoy working with the other kids on the show?

It's so much fun when there are kids on any show! I usually work with adults, which I love too, but when there are other kids, it's just sort of icing on the cake! It's also fun, because we do school during work, so I'm not the only kid in school on the days there are kids!

9. What has been your favorite scene/episode to film for YR?

My favorite scene, because it was so emotional and Kelly and Josh and I were feeling it so much, was the scene where they have to tell me that Christian didn't make it. After the scene we all hugged each other because we knew how well it went. It was such a good feeling.

10. What is the best part of acting and what was your favorite job so far?

My favorite part of acting is just being able to pretend I'm lots of different people, and live other peoples' lives. I love to travel to different locations for work, and experience different ways people live. I feel like my work is my school too - I learn so much every day. I really hope I get to do it for the rest of my life. I would be so lucky.

We'd like to thank Alyvia for participating in this year's Holiday Q&A Event!

It's Christmas!

Ryan and Holden Hare play the role of Johnny Abbott on The Young and the Restless. This year they have been seen in a Basic Talk commercial, and to keep up to date make sure to keep checking back here at the site.

1. What was Ryan and Holden's first audition and what was the process like?

The boys’ first audition was with CBS for Young and the Restless! The boys were 6 weeks old and we got a call from their manager telling us to dress them alike and head down to meet the Casting Directors! We got called later that day telling us they booked the role of Baby Johnny!

2. What was their time on set like filming their Kohl's commercial?

The boys had a blast filming the Kohl's commercial! Ryan is the one you see in the high chair getting to make a mess, eat snacks and looking down at the dog and back at his actor mom and at the end of the commercial we had switched in Holden so it's him the last few seconds!

3. Is there a way to tell the boys apart in their scenes? Can the cast tell them apart?

Their really isn't a way to tell them apart visually they still weigh the exact same and are the same height but Holden is more of the talker so if you hear him talking in the scene it's probably Holden! Amelia Heinle, their TV mama is the only one who can most of the time tell them apart!

4. How did they like working with Burgess Jenkins?

The story line didn't have the boys with Burgess as much as we would have liked but they always had a blast filming the scenes they had with him...it usually included building blocks or something else fun!

5. What is it like working with Amelia Heinle?

Amazing!! The boys have always absolutely adored their TV mommy!! From day one she has always been so wonderful to both of them! They actually don't understand that we are filming at CBS Studios, they think it's Amelia's house so they always ask for me to take them to "Melia's house to play".

6. How do the boys like working with Reese and Kennedy?

The boys both love the girls but Holden especially adores his TV sissy! When we have spare time between scenes we like to walk over to the Grove LA with Reese and Kennedy and check out all the fun stuff to do!!

7. What has the bond with the cast and crew been like for Ryan and Holden growing up on the show?

Being with Young and the Restless since the boys were 6 weeks old has truly been a wonderful experience!! They treat us like family and are always so kind when we are filming! They call the boys their shows little Mascot and actually have video reels of the boys scenes that they told me they run on set when we aren't there! The boys not only love their TV actor family but also adore all the hair and makeup team and stage managers who spoil the boys with sour gummy worms and Magic tricks in between scenes!

8. Is there anyone you hope they get to work with on the show?

I think the boys have been lucky enough to have scenes with everyone the last few years!

9. Do you have any funny stories from set that you can share?

When the boys filmed their second birthday scenes the director gave them their cupcake during rehearsal and if Ryan had eaten too much they would replace it with a new cupcake for the actual scene...it took Ryan no time at all to realize every time he took a bite of the cupcake he would get a new one so before the props guy would even pull his hand away from the cupcake plate Ryan would be shoving the entire thing in his mouth and then ask for more! We quickly decided to use a fake cupcake during rehearsals and only give him the real one for the taping of the scenes!

10. What has been your favorite scene the boys have filmed?

We LOVE the scene where Ryan is blowing out his 2nd birthday candles and is smiling from ear to ear. Another favorite is the "going to see Santa" Christmas scene from a couple years ago that they did with their original TV daddy (who they absolutely adored) and they kept giving him impromptu high fives.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Holden and Ryan just want to wish everyone a very happy and healthy Holiday season and thank you for being such awesome fans!!

We'd like to thank Ryan, Holden, and their family for participating in this year's Holiday Q&A Event!

1 Day Til' Christmas!

Gunner and Ryder Gadbois play the role of Connor Newman on The Young and The Restless. This year the boys were seen in episodes of Kirby Buckets, The Thundermans, and True Blood! To keep up to date make sure to follow them on Twitter and Instagram.

1. What was the boys first booking?

Their first booking was playing baby John Swanson on Parks and Rec (son of Ron Swanson)

2. How did the boys enjoy filming The Mindy Project?

They loved it. The crew prepared us that one baby would need to eat and one would need to sleep. We sent ryder for the eating part because he was always snacking and then he refused to eat. It was pretty funny but it worked out well!

3. What was their time on set like filming their Skittles commercial?

Well, most importantly there were tons of Skittles available to them. They had a great time, one of the boys even fell asleep on their "mom" during filming!

4. Is there any way to tell Gunner and Ryder apart? Can the cast tell the boys apart?

They have very slight differences. Ryder's head is a little more narrow while Gunner's head is a little more round. Their ears are another way (Gunner's left ear is identical to Ryder's right ear and vice versa.) so we have to be sure i'm looking at the correct ear to tell who it is. The cast cannot tell them apart. They try to guess each time, at least they have a 50/50 shot! :-)

5. What is your favorite part of Gunner and Ryder working at YR?

I love watching them bond and grow with the cast they get to work it. It's so much fun to see their relationships blossom on and off camera.

6. How do the boys enjoy working with Justin Hartley?

They love him! They have recently started calling him "TB Dad" aka TV dad. It's pretty cute.

7. What is it like working with Melissa Claire Egan?

She is just the sweetest and the boys absolutely adore her. She is just a genuine and kind woman.

8. What is the experience like working with Eric Braeden?

He is great! He is a grandpa himself and that totally shows when he is interacting with the boys on and off set. A couple weeks ago he shared his orange with them and they thought that was the coolest!

9. Is there anyone on the show you hope Gunner and Ryder will have a chance to work with?

I would love for them to get the chance to work with everyone. They have worked with a majority of the cast and anyone who they haven't worked with, they have interacted with behind the scenes. Everyone is so amazing and welcoming to them.

10. What is your favorite scene that the boys have filmed on YR?

My favorite episode to date is when they were celebrating Connor's birthday in Paris and they took a family selfie with tongues out. That was such a fun scene. I think the best part is the tongues out was spur of the moment and not scripted to happen.

Anything else you'd like to add?

I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone for the support and love they show the boys. The cast, the crew, and the fans have been so welcoming and kind. We truly appreciate it!

We'd like to thank Gunner, Ryder and their family for participating in this year's Holiday Q&A Event!

1. What was your time on set like filming CSI: Cyber?

It was fun because I got to play a little girl named "Rae" which is also my real middle name, how cool! And I made friends with the most adorable puppy named Milo in the make-up trailer.

2. How did you like working with Patricia Aquette?

I really like Patricia she is such a nice lady. She really made me comfortable on set. After we were done taping one day she gave the best compliment saying "McKenna You Killed It Today".

3. What was it like filming with Ted Danson?

Funny story, because I actually didn't film with him. He was still filming his other show CSI so I worked with his stand in. But I met him while we both were taping a voiceover in the ADR room. He was very nice.

4. How did you enjoy doing the Halloween video for the Disney Store?

It was fun because Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I liked my costume!

5. What was the experience like working on your episodes of Extant?

I had the best time on the set of Extant! It was so much fun, I met a lot of really talented people and I went on a whale watching field trip with Pierce Gagnon.

6. How did you enjoy working with Halle Berry?

I just loved Halle Berry, she's so pretty, and she is funny and nice. She's like a cool Mom and she even drove me around in golf cart! I wish I will get to work with her again.

7. What was your time on set like filming Devon and Hilary's wedding?

Happy! Happy! It was the first time I ever been to a wedding Lol! Best part was I got to be the flower girl.

8. Do you see any of the other YR kids outside of YR?

Aidan yes, we are very good friends and we've hung out a lot off set.

9. What has been your favorite scene to do for Y&R this year?

Devon and Hillary's wedding was my favorite episode I did so far.

Natalie Alyn Lind is the older sister of Emily and Alyvia. This year she has been seen in recurring roles on both Gotham and The Goldbergs! To keep up to date make sure to like her page on Facebook, follow her on Twitter, and follow her on Instagram.

1. What was your time on set like filming Murder in the First?

My character, Daisy, on Murder in the First was very emotionally complex. She's afraid of her father and her cousin beat her - not much I can relate to. But it was the first time I was able to play a character with some edge - I loved it.

2. What was your first day on set like for The Goldbergs?

That seems like so long ago! I knew right away that the show was going to be a hit. Sometimes you can just tell. And everyone had so much fun - I had never laughed so hard on set.

3. How do you enjoy working with Sean Giambrone?

I love working with Sean so much! He's taller than me now! We've come so far - the show's been on for three years now, so I feel like I've kind of grown up with him. He's one of the sweetest and most talented people I know.

4. What is it like filming with Wendi McLendon-Covey?

Wendi is hilarious! She's like a mother figure on set. Being able to work with one of the funniest women in show business has been such a blessing.

5. Do you ever get to give any input on what Dana says or her style choices?

The creator of the show, Adam Goldberg has a very specific view on how Dana should look, act, etc...because Dana is a real person. Adam tries to replicate the real life people the characters are based on. But I actually love wearing the 80's fashion and getting my hair teased to twice its size.

6. How do you like working on Gotham?

I love working on Gotham! My character Silver St. Cloud is this crazy bad ass and is secretly evil. The writing on the show is so incredible. They're always giving me amazing story lines - I never know which direction Silver is going next.

7. What is the most challenging part of having to travel to film the series? The best part?

The most challenging part about having to travel for work is missing my family. I hate being away from them, but in the end it's worth it because I get the film in my favorite city, New York. Trying to combine Goldbergs and Gotham's schedule is tough too, but the upside is I never stop working.

8. What is it like working with David Mazouz?

I've known David for A few years now - he played my sister's love interest in Dear Dumb Diary - he's definitely one of the best parts about going to set because we're great friends now! He's an amazing actor and he's been killing the role of Bruce Wayne.

9. Is there anything you can tell us about what is coming up for Silver St. Cloud?

I can't give any storylines away, but the viewers are about to see the real side of Silver. We're one episode away till the midseason finale, so I'm getting anxious for everyone to see it!

10. What is the best part of acting and what was your favorite job so far?

My favorite part of acting is being able to create complex characters. I love picking up a script and seeing what crazy thing I get to do next. My favorite job I've done so far, was a TV show I shot in Canada called Flashpoint. I'm half Canadian so being able to shoot in Toronto was so much fun.

We'd like to thank Natalie for participating in this year's Holiday Q&A Event!

4. What was it like filming the Christmas story scenes for General Hospital?

Well that was an interesting story! When we found out it was going to be about Krampus and not Santa I had to see the costume first to make sure I was not scared! 5. How did you like working with Kathleen Gati (Dr. Obrecht)?

She was very nice and a great singer! She is always so nice so it was hard not to laugh when she had her big Krampus costume on!

6. How did you like doing print work for Tea Collection?

That's was the most amazing job for me because I love horses and I got to work with a beautiful brown horse on my first shoot with them:) I love everyone at Tea and they have the most beautiful clothes and love all of the accessories too. That is so hard because I love everyone that I have worked with this year. Being on set is so fun and it is such a dream to go somewhere new and meet new people and see old friends too. Yes, I want to say I am very grateful for all of the new experiences I had this year- they mean so much to me. I am so thankful for the support of my family & friends & Thank you for being so kind to me and my sister Brooklyn!

4. What was your shoot for GAP like?

My mom got to do it with me, which was fun. I got to be on a billboard in Tokyo.

5. What was the best part of working on your Volvo commercial?

It was funny, they made it look like I was in an old town in New York but it was all fake. When I saw the commercial they made it look like I wasn't on a set.

6. How did you enjoy shooting for The Mod Child?

I don't really remember, I was too young.

7. What was your time on set like filming for Y&R?

It was so fun, it was so cool I loved filming that. That was my favorite acting part. I can't even say it because it was too awesome. There were real explosions on set because it was the Halloween episode it was so cool.

8. How did you enjoy getting to work with the other kids in the scenes?

It is always awesome. I make a lot of friends.

9. What does it feel like when you see yourself on television?

It's embarrassing. I feel like everyone is watching me.

5 Days Til' Christmas!

Bianca and Chiara D'Ambrosio played the role of Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless. This year they have been seen on Freak Out, Game Shakers, and have been busy working on their music. To keep up to date make sure to visit their website, like their page on Facebook, follow them on Twitter, and follow them on Instagram.

1. What was your time like filming FREAK OUT?

Bianca: It was amazing. I was a little nervous because it was mostly improv and I knew that her being FREAKED OUT was up to me and being believable.

Chiara: It was fun because we knew the person being pranked had no idea.

2. Do you choose who plays which role or do they?

For FREAK OUT we both auditioned and they picked you who do what role. The funny part is that this role was for a boy and not a twin role. We did a Disney XD Pilot and when we auditioned we picked which role we felt was better for us. When they booked us for the role they kept it the same. (The Savages - Disney XD Pilot)

3. Do you have a favorite event you attended this year?

Bianca: The Just Jared Ever After High events they are a lot of fun and they always have the latest dolls

Chiara: The Warner Brothers Studio Tour opening. The tour had several interactive things to do and we got to hang out on the FRIENDS set. I love to watch FRIENDS so it was fun to have a cappuccino at Central Perk. Plus we got to see some of the cast from The Young & Restless. It is always fun seeing them.

4. What was the experience like walking the runway at the Cannes Fashion Festival?

Bianca: There are no words to express how amazing it was to walk in Cannes during the Cannes Film Festival. We had so much fun and met such wonderful people.

Chiara: It was magical !!! It was my first time so I was nervous at first but once I stepped out ...I loved it !!!

5. Do you watch old episode of yourself on Y & R?

Both:No...not really. We usually just watch whatever we are in once and that's it. Except for Nickelodeon's SEE DAD RUN we enjoy watching that when it's on. Plus a few of the shows we have done we can't watch.

6. What is it like running into former and current cast members when out and about?

Both: We love running into other cast members and crew. When you work on set you kind of become family even if it's only for a couple of days.

7. Bianca, what was it like filming Game Shakers?

Everyone was really nice. I had to spend one day in make up & hair to just make sure it would look good on TV. Dan was great to work with. He enjoyed having scare the writers on rehearsal day.

8. How do you enjoy being able to perform in front of students at their schools?

We love spending time at the schools in LA. It's a great chance for us to be around kids our own age and talk to them about things they are interested in. They usually are shocked that we are only 10 yrs old but I think that's what makes us relatable.

9. How do you decide which songs you would like to cover?

Our dad loves music and he was the one that introduced us to Ex's & Oh's by Elle king before it became popular. He has us working on an old song that we are just now starting to perform. If there is a song we really love we have our parents listen to it and see if it would work for us.

10. What has been your favorite project to work on this year?

Bianca: I love all of them but Game Shakers !!

Chiara: I am thankful for all the jobs I am lucky to book so I don't like to pick a favorite.

11. What’s new for 2016?

We just finished recording our new song and cannot wait to start to perform it in the new year. It's a little different than our other songs...so we are excited to see what everyone thinks.

Thank you so much for the fun questions and hope everyone has a Happy Holiday!!!

Bianca & Chiara

9 Days Til' Christmas!

Reese and Kennedy play the role of Katherine "Katie" Newman on The Young and The Restless. This year the girls shot a commercial for 1-800-Flowers. To keep up to date make sure to keep checking back here.

1. How did you react when the girls got cast on YR?

I couldn't believe it!! We were so excited and felt incredibly grateful for such a wonderful opportunity.

2. Is there a way to tell the girls apart on screen?

It's hard!! Not really! I can't tell.

3. How do they like working with Amelia?

It's a dream! Amelia is one of a kind! So compassionate and sweet. She's a mom herself and the girls just love her.

4. What was it like working with Burgess Jenkins?

Awesome! He's so nice to the kids!

5. How do Reese and Kennedy like working with Ryan and Holden?

You mean the cutest boys ever?!? We love it! They are so adorable, funny and sweet!!

6. What was their first day on set like?

So fun! I was nervous only because I didn't know what to expect. The actors and crew took wonderful care of the girls. They filmed their birthing scene...they rubbed a combination of strawberry jelly and cream cheese on them to simulate a "real birth" it went quick and smoothly.

7. How did Reese and Kennedy like their costume for the Halloween episodes?

They liked them and wore the ladybug hat with a smile!

8. What was it like filming for Katie's first birthday party?

So fun! My favorite part was her cute dress and fancy silver shoes!

9. Is there someone on the show that you hope they get the chance to work with?

I'm pretty sure we've worked with almost everyone. My favorite scenes to shoot are when its just Victoria, Billy and the kids.

10. Do you have a favorite scene they have done for the show so far?

So far my favorite was the Halloween scene when Katie was on the couch with all the other kids. They were all so cute in their costumes!!
