Tate Berney began playing the role of AJ Chandler in early 2010. This year Tate won a Young Artist Award for his work on AMC and has recently been spotted in ads for GAP, Target and Tom's Shoes!
Q&A is not to be duplicated elsewhere and claimed as their own. STAR-KIDZ EXCLUSIVES

1. How do you like working with Sarah and Christina?
It's really fun to work with them cause I like them and they are really funny! They are really good actors!
2. How did you like working with Jacob?
I loved how he called me "Grand Master Tate" all the time! He always made it easy and fun to work with him. In the last scene when I worked with him for the last time, I saw a tear coming down his cheek and I really cried because I felt like I was saying goodbye to him in real life too. I REALLY miss him.
3. What's your favorite part of working with each of the AMC kids?
Mackenzie (we call her Mackie) is awesome because she likes to do a lot of things I like to do. We loved getting fake scabs put on together in the make-up room.
Jake is just a funny 4 year old who likes to have fun. He is a good actor and is just funny! He is my buddy in real life too!
Britton always wanted me to give him a piggy back ride. I loved playing with him!
The McMackin twins were really fun to play with too! They loved playing around with me in the dressing rooms.
Danielle is fun to work with and hang out with in the school room.
I didn't get to work a lot with Dannika and Darby, but when I did they were really nice!
The best part about getting to work with all the kids is that we could laugh together, run around the dressing rooms, and we always had lunch at Subway together!
4. How do you like working with Michael E Knight and Cady McClain?
I really liked working with Michael. He is REALLY funny because he has an awesome accent (he tries to sound Brittish or something). He always made me feel comfortable on set. Every time I worked with him I knew it was going to be a fun day because he always teased me and made fun of me. He would pick me up, turn me upside down and always goof around with me! I would always check on him when he was outside to see if he was smoking. I always gave him a hard time when I caught him smoking!
I didn't get to work with Cady that much, but when I finally got to spend some time with her she was really nice to me.
5. What is your favorite memory from this year's AMC weekend?
I have a bunch! One is when Rodney (a AMC fan) was asking me questions at the Chandler Breakfast, he was so funny!
I loved the Kareoke night singing with J.R. Martinez. We sang "Billy Jean" and did all the Michael Jackson moves!
Breakdancing at Krystals BBQ
And most of all meeting all the AMC fans!
6. What are some of the funniest things to happen on set?
I was doing a scene with Michael and Jacob and we were playing a board game, and I kept messing up the spaces I was suppose to move...Michael kept making me laugh and then when I won the game I swung my hand in the air and hit him in the face! It was really funny!
During the Easter episode Daniel Cosgrove made all of the kids laugh so hard because he was singing a really funny made up song about the Easter Bunny and chocolate. We were all dancing and laughing!
7. How did you like shooting your Target in-store posters?
I liked doing the Target job. The photographer was really funny and nice! It was cool to see myself on the posters in the store!
8. What is your favorite AMC set to work on?
I have a few of those too! i loved when we were on location at one of the producers houses, because I got to swim in the pool!
I loved working in "Krystals" because I always go to eat good food like ice cream, cookies and fries...no matter what time of day it was. I would always finish it and they would have to give me more!
I also liked running up the fake stairs in the Chandler Mansion.
9. What was it like to be on set for the taping of the final ABC week of AMC?
It was really sad because I had to say goodbye to everyone and I didn't like it.
10. What is your favorite memory from AMC?
That's really hard, I have a lot of favorite memories.
Going to the Emmy's with everyone was pretty awesome!
One day I got to be the director and I got to use the walkie talkie and stuff and talk to the people in the control room. I got to tell Susan and Julia what to do!
The very last day was probably one of the coolest because everyone was there all at once, the cast and the crew. Even Agnes Nixon!
Being able to be a part of All My Children has probably been one of the best things to ever happen to me in my life! I REALLY miss EVERYONE so much!
We'd like to thank Tate and his family for participating in this year's Holiday Q&A event!
