Biography


Alexander, Benjamin and Caleb Eckstein were born on April 21, 2006, the middle siblings for the Eckstein family (older brother Christian and younger sister Abby). In 2007 their mother saw a casting call floating around a multiples group she was a member of which asked for twin boys with brown hair and blue eyes. Knowing she not only had two, but three of boys matching the description she decided to submit them and the rest is history.

Upon booking the role of 'Spike Lavery' on "All My Children" from that casting the boys appeared in their first episode in July 2007 where they continued to be a part of the "All My Children" family until December 2009 when the boys fimed their last scenes before the show moved west (last aired January 2010). While on the show the boys appeared in numerous episodes and were a part of major storylines including one where their character was the primary focus. During this time they also filmed for the movie "Ghost Town", which Alex's scene is in the movie, and the family filmed a commercial series for "Diaper Genie". Upon leaving the soap, Alex, Ben, and Caleb have appeared on "Ugly Betty" and will be in an upcoming episode of the new HBO series "Boardwalk Empire".
