Ashley Gerasimovich is Alexa's younger sister. This year she has been seen in the series The Detour and look for season two coming soon! To keep up to date make sure to follow her on Twitter and Instagram.

1. What was the experience like attending the Turner Upfronts?

The Upfronts were super funny! I loved seeing the previews of all the new shows coming out on the Turner network.

2. How did you like shooting with Emily Soto?

Emily was super nice and so fun! She's a very talented photographer. I loved how my photos turned out!

3. What was the casting process like for The Detour?

Casting for The Detour started, for me, in NY with an audition and a callback. Then I flew out to LA to audition for TBS with one other girl from NY and 2 girls from LA. Liam was the only boy there, so we all auditioned with him.

4. How did it feel watching the series premiere of The Detour on TV?

I was so excited to see the series premiere of The Detour on tv, I was bouncing around my living room! My family was super excited for me too! It was so cool to be able to watch it with the rest of the country!

5. How do you enjoy working with Natalie Zea?

Natalie Zea is amazing! I always learn a lot from her. She is so funny and super talented. I'm really lucky she is my tv mom.

6. What is it like filming Jason Jones?

Jason Jones is awesome! Even when we are not filming, he is still the "jokester" of our family! He is an incredible writer and actor.

7. Do you and Liam get to spend time together backstage and/or in school?

Liam and I had school together every day on set with a tutor, so to answer your question, "YES"! We would play jokes on each other sometimes to pass the time.

8. What has been your favorite scene to film so far?

I have so many favorite scenes, it's hard to decide. But one of my favorite scenes had to be on the beach when I got to kick Chazz's butt! I had so much fun doing it!

9. Is there anything you can share about season 2?

I can share that season 2 is hilarious and takes place in NY, but you will just have to tune in and watch this February!

We'd like to thank Ashley for participating in our Holiday Q&A Event!

1. What was your time on set like filming your NBA 2K17 commercial?

Filming the NBA 2K17 commercial was very cool! I got to totally be myself and ride my bike. It's fun doing what you love!

2. What was it like seeing it on TV for the first time?

I wasn't sure how they were going to put the whole thing together so it was fun seeing that it started with me!

3. How did you enjoy attending the Young Entertainer Awards?

The Young Entertainer Awards was really fun. Such a great experience! The awards show was really well put together AND my family and I got to go to Universal Studios after!

4. What did it feel like to win?

It was awesome to win. Being up against so many other great young actors, it was an honor to be chosen for the award film Insidious Chapter 3.

5. How did you prepare your acceptance speech?

I didn't really prepare anything because I didn't know I would win. Before I went to the event though I just kind of thought of who I would thank if might win.

6. What was your shoot for Riddell like?

Riddell was fun and easy because I love football and am used to wearing football gear and playing. They seemed really happy with me because I knew what I was doing and they could tell I was an athlete.

7. How did you like going to the Kids Choice Sports Awards and being slimed?

The KCS Awards was great! I have ALWAYS wanted to be slimed...and it finally happened! I got to meet Steph Curry and Klay Thompson!

8. Do you prefer commercials, print, or TV and why?

I actually like all of it. They are all so different. Print is easy and fun! Commercials are really fun too, just much harder to book. Both commercials and print are easier because there are no lines to learn. I really like TV and Film because even though its more work to learn the lines, and prepare for the scenes etc. it is so awesome to work with the cast and crew over time and become close to everyone. Then at the end to get see the finished movie or tv show and see how it all comes together its very rewarding.

9. What was it like getting together with your fellow AMC Kids this past summer?

I loved seeing everyone. My mom still talks to their moms, and I sometimes see what the girls on doing on IG and stuff, but it was cool to actually see everyone in person and catch up!

10. What else have you been up to this year?

I filmed an episode of Henry Danger that just aired a couple of weeks ago. It is filmed on the same lot as Days of Our Lives, so when my mom and I were walking back to the dressing room we saw Jordi Vilasuso driving out in his car, we were so happy to get to see him and catch up. He could not believe how big I was. Then at the end of the day we went over and saw some of the crew, that were also worked on AMC. I also just filmed a commercial for Orkin as a log roller boy. It was hard work because we had to be hooked up to wires and everything, but I think its going to turn out awesome! Cant wait to see it! I also just finished working on a show called "The It Girls" It will be on YouTube!

Is there anything else you would like to add?

I really hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year!

We'd like to thank Tate for participating in our Holiday Q&A Event!
